Up for sale is a rare antique 19th century Gorham Sterling silver match safe.
It is in a very unusual Dutch enamel design of a blue & white ship scene in the jug, sitting next to a beer mug and pipes.
Condition: there are marks of wear on the sides, couple minor pin point dings on the back, one pin point ding on the top left corner, some wear to the enamel.
Hallmarked along the lip as seen in photos.
Measures 2 5/8 inches long and 1.5 inches wide.
Weighs 40.7 grams.
A similar match safe sold at Heritage sales in December of 2011.
