Offered is this handsome silver roundlet from the Gorham Silver Co. of Providence, Rhode Island. It is marked with their Lion, Anchor and G trademark on one end and “Sterling/and/other/metals” (see photo). There are a couple of other markings, one of which appears to be a deep, indistinct year mark. Based on the style I would judge this piece almost certainly dates from Art Deco era of about the 1920-30\'s. The casing is elegantly monogramed with script letters appearing to be “CTL”, but I’m not certain.

I consider this piece to be in excellent condition with a fluted wire helix and decorative shank. There is one very minor indentation on one end of the casing which I note only for accuracy. It certainly does not spoil and this very handsome corkscrew would enhance any collection.
