Presented is a fantasticGorham sterling silver large bowl or dish marked for sterling silver with astyle number of 10 and a date letter C for silver made c1870 with from J.E. Caldwell& Co.. This beautiful piece has a great shell shape with three barnacle likefeet and an adorable little mouse hiding just in front of the wire handle thatcurls up around the back of the shell with a leaf on top of ring curled handle.This is a great piece with a high finish with no dents or dings and only somefine scratches from gentle use and care and no monogram. This is an amazing collectablepiece with any number of uses or as a simply elegant item in almost any décor orsetting for the silver collector.
