GORHAM STERLING TEAPOT & STAND c1880 HAND DECORATED

A late 19th century (we believe) Gorham sterling silver hand crafted

tea kettle on matching stand,

Compressed circular with repoussed, and then hand chased

leaf and floral on satin.

The cover retain the original raised flower and leaf finial.

Naturalistic leaf and vine wrapped branch form spout

and fixed handle.

The stand retains both of the original chained securing

pins.Burner with dome top hinged cover and tapering handle.

The stand atop cascading floral on satin rolled top feet.

Never monogrammed.

This late 19th century American (likely Gorham) sterling silver

leaf and berry handle tea kettle on stand is 11 inches and

the set 57 (standard) ounces.

Hallmarked STERLING as shown.

In very fine condition.

Handle secure and retains original heat stops.

Rich sterling patina throughout.

Retains original hand chased detail.
