Perrot, copyright 1834 by Ville de Paris. Size: 25 5/8 by 15 3/8 inches. Signed N. Turner lower right front, signed and dated 2017 on the reverse. Location: Nice, France. This original painting was done on two pages from the book. The pages were removed as a single, large sheet of paper. This painting is not sold with a frame. All of the materials used are archival.

About the ArtistNeal Turner is a painter best known for his brightly colored, biomorphic paintings which were initially inspired byPost Impressionism, Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art. Turner began painting celebrity portraits and nudes usingextremely bright and often contrastingcolors and lines. Over the years, he has experimented with multiple stylesand themes. More recently, Turner hasfocusedonclassical subject matter with the same intense use of color andline, depicting themes from antiquity in a contemporary setting,using a textured, cartoon-like style.
Turner has had numerous gallery exhibitions in Europe and North America. His work is included in the collection of the Douro Museum in Portugal, and in corporate and private collections throughout the world.
Neal Turner was born in Miami, Florida, in 1964. Upon completion of a M.A. in International Relations at the Universityof South Florida in 1995, he moved to Paris, France. Hecurrently lives and works in Nice, France.
