What a wonderful gift this must have been!

When Harriet Banks graduated in 1935, she was presented this by her 90 year old grandmother.

This quilt has a creamy off white background.

Hand embroidered on one of the flower is, Presented BY Sarah Banks Born Jan. 15 1845 To Harriett Banks Graduation 1935

It is hand quilted at 5-6 stitches per inch.

It is hand appliqued.

It is hand bound.

It measures 91\" x 77\"

Very good condition. Faint age tanning and some light spots, and a couple little loose appliqued pieces, on the back there is tanning and spotting and light fold lines. (See photos.)

Freshly hand laundered.

A wonderful quilt to collect, research, cherish.
