Great Preserved Historic Condition:Tiger oak maintains its original finish and warm patina. This piece is quite sturdy, heavy and comfortable! Wood has minor scratches and age cracks, as well as a couple of minute chips as shown in the MAGNIFIED photos. The upholstery has been upgraded a couple of times. When I obtained it in the 90\'s, it had bright orange fabric reminiscentof a 1970\'s recovering; At that time, I had it reupholsteredin more of a period covering with tacks. Please see all photos.
