The engine actually still works and starts right up when you turn the switch underneath. The engine does not shake the vehicle. I did not try to fix, take the item apart or try to clean it. The light on the front engine still works when you give the car a little push you can feel it hit the switch for it to come on. The one wheel looks to have come undone at some point since it is taped on. I took a a picture for you to see this. The box does show wear and has a hole on the front top. Overall the car is pretty clean considering it\'s age. The battery compartment is in great condition. I am including two D batteries with the item. They will be in the battery compartment. The box is 11X9X10 and weighs approx 3pounds.
