Granger Special Bamboo Fly Rod, Model 9050, 9 ft., 3/1, Nickel Silver Uplocking Reel Seat, Mild Reversed Half-Wells Cork Grip, clean Professional Repair to Butt Section with invisible thread, no potential for failure, (see photo), dark cane, fresh varnish on wraps, tight ferrules, nice varnish on rod, wraps are Granger Green #20, tip is 1/2 inch short, tip has very slight downward set, sock is not original, nice PVC case with tight cap, a very excellent fishable rod and a good value. Even with a repair that is good for the life of the rod and a tip that is 1/2 inch short it is still a Granger Special and a fabulous fly rod. Buy it before it goes to the retail store.
