This is a wonderful silver sickle knife. I believe it is either Indian or Indo Persian. It may have been a ceremonial object or even a fancy letter opener. The piece is marked 850 silver and also tests positive for being silver. It has a lovely chased design on the handle and blade. The piece measures approx. 11\" long and weighs a substantial 202 grams. The handle is not weighted. The piece is in good condition with the exception of a small area on the blade that appears to have been scratched and tested for silver content. Please see the photos.
