I\'m offering for your consideration a stunning pair of earrings with beautiful high grade natural sipderweb turquoise that appears to be from the Bisbee mine. They were made by the wonderful silversmith, Jimmy Herald, a Navajo who worked for the Frank Patania shop and was spoken of very warmly to me by Frank Patania Jr. when we discussed his work for them on another pair of earrings. Jimmy started working with Frank Patania Sr. 1938. Frank Jr. said that Jimmy was a superb craftsmen. He retired around 1975 and died several later. These earrings are a great example of his work. The artistry, dimensionality and movement in them is wonderful. They are gorgeous pieces with repousse´ and raindrops and are all hand made.

These are clip on earrings which are lovely to wear as they are but can be easily converted to pierced with cold solder (laser). They measure 1-3/8\" long and 3/4\" wide. The stunning high grade turquoise measures approximately 5/16\" x 3/8\". They are in excellent vintage, collectible and wearable condition. These were signed with Jimmy Herald\'s documented hallmark of the conjoined JH on one of the earrings.

These pieces were entirely hand constructed. The work is top-notch and the design very elegant. Suitable for the best collection. It\'s no coincidence that they look like Patania earrings because of his work for so many years collaborating with Frank Patania Sr in the Patania Shop. These pieces have that quality of timeless perfection in their design. These are pieces that will always be suitable.
