This is an excellent antique (late 1800\'s) electrified oil Gone with the Wind lamp with fantastic hand painted details including an all-over green that consists of three shades feathered together, and blooming apple blossoms on the front and back of the globe and lamp. The brass parts are excellent as well and have a bright, shiny polished finish. All parts are in excellent condition with no cracks, repairs, or blemishes other than very light wear (scuffs, tiny paint flakes). A replacement (Aladdin) chimney is included and fits well. The bottom half of the font inside the lamp was removed to allow a night light in the bottom, theburner in the top holds a socket for a standard bulb, and there is a three-way switch attached to the base. The re-wire looks professional, all parts, including sockets are firmly attached, nothing is loose or wobbly. The socket in the top works, but thebulb in the bottom won\'t turn on. the bulb might need to be replaced, but I haven\'t found an easy way to access it, so I\'ll leave that up to the buyer.

Assembled, the lamp measures 29\" H and the shade is about 9\" in diameter with a 4\" fitter. This item will be packed securely, double boxed, and fully insured during shipping.
