This volume contains a collection of 38 tales and legends together with 16 beautiful full page colour illustrations by Warwick Goble. Dark blue cloth cover with bright gilt cover design and titles to spine. Tightly bound throughout. Page edges are coloured blue. Very good condition throughout - pages are clean and bright with minimal edge/storage wear to the boards. Slight mottling to page edges and foxing to front & rear endpapers. Small 1cm corner has been cut away at the top of the frontispiece. Contains one inscription written neatly in ink on inside cover when the book was given as a gift and dated 1912.The Warwick Goble illustrations are beautifully clear and bright and are full and complete. Tissue guard to frontispiece illustration. No marks. 281 pages plus 2 pages of publisher\'s adverts for other books available at that time. A really lovely bright and clean copy of this rare title.
