This is a Griswold Large Block Colonial Breakfast Skillet #666C. Very nice skillet and in great cosmetic condition. Logo and all print on the bottom is deep and crisp (see photos). No rust, cracks, chips, pits, or wobble.Measures 9\" x 9\"x 1\". Handle measures 4 1/2\". It has been cleaned with electrolysis bath and seasoned. From our pictures you may conclude that our pieces may be damp with oil or grease due to the shinniness of the picture. This is not the case. These have been seasoned 4 times with Crisco shortening which is baked on and dry to the touch. You will not find any oily or greasy film.
Note: For those of you that may not be familiar with the electrolysis bath and seasoning process; this is a procedure that is a very time consuming and work intensive process to remove all old grease and burnt on gunk to restore the cast iron to near new condition without damaging the item. This is done with DC voltage. Then a 4 step seasoning process is done on the item to prep it for new use and protect it from rust and other oxidation. At this point it is ready for use or display with no more black, or greasy feel on your hands. For those familiar with this process, I know you realize how much effort was put into giving you an item to be proud of. Little to no additional charge is added to the asking price for this procedure. We want you to get the most bang for your buck!
