Offered is this highly collectible Griswold Manufacturing Company of Erie, PA. Cast Iron Size #0 Skillet in Buttercup Yellow and White Lined Porcelain (shown on page 203 The Book of Griswold & Wagner, Smith & Wafford, 4th Edition). This is a well made pan with inset heat ring and the earlier grooved handle. Bottom is impressed marked GRISWOLD (block logo), CAST IRON SKILLET, 0 (size no.) ERIE PA., U.S.A., 562 (pattern no.). 0 is also impressed marked on top of the handle. Pan measures 4 7/16 inches in diameter, 4 3/4 inches from spout to spout, 7 1/16 inches from end of handle across and stands 15/16 inches tall at the rim. Its weight is 10.2 ounces.
Condition : Porcelain finish is chipped on the handle, rim and heat ring. The iron has no chips or cracks and its bottom sits perfectly flat with no wobbling. Further condition description is shown in detail on 12 pictures provided.
