This is a Gullah "basket" motif pin brooch that measures 2 1/4" x 1 3/4". There is a functional pin closure mechanism on the back to wear. The pin is made to look like a real Gullah basket from South Carolina made of sweetgrass and palmetto. Gullah people from South Carolina have been creating baskets from the indiginous coastal grasses for a long time an it is one of the oldest African American art forms. This pin is made in style of a "stand basket". This is a pre-owned item in good order as shown. My photos are of the actual item you are getting.
