ITEM DESCRIPTION: This wonderfully detailed, handcrafted hard plastic SAINT PATRICK\'S DAY LAPEL PIN was made by Hallmark in 1989. It is known as the \"OFFICIALLY IRISH SHAMROCK ON RIBBON ~ GREEN FOIL\" lapel pin. Many of these vintage Hallmark Lapel pins aremodeled after Hallmark Merry Miniatures of the same design. The older pin features a green shamrock with a reflective GREEN FOIL finish and a white caption, \"Officially IRISH.\" This pin was made in 2 versions - a gold foil finish on the shamrock and this reflective green foil. I am showing a picture for comparison.

The shamrock is attached to a green and white striped satin ribbon. It is Hallmark item number SLP12, originally retailed for $2.95, and has arotating c-clasp on the top of the ribbon.

CONDITION: Good condition with minor wear to the gold foil surface on the shamrock and to the ribbon. This item comes from a smoke free Environment.MEASUREMENTS: About1 5/8\" wide and 3 3/4\" high to the top of the ribbon.TRADEMARKS/UNDERSTAMPS: The back of the pin is signed with the embossed Hallmark name, \"© Hallmark Cards, Inc.\" PAYMENT DUE: Payment for this item is due upon receipt of invoice and no later than 3 days after the listing closes.
