This sale is for a beautiful Bonbon/Trinket Dish or Card Tray in Hallmarked Solid Silver, dating to the Art Nouveau era.

The dish has a deep repousse design of stylised leaves, scrolls and swags with scrolled \'handles\' and additionally a pierced geometric design of crosses and \'stars\'.
 

It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1907 solid sterling silver (lion passant, anchor and
\'h\').  There is also a maker\'s mark of W&H into a Flag for the renowned silversmiths, Walker & Hall of Howard Street Sheffield.

The dish measures 5 1/4 inches (13.25 cm) by 4 inches (10.25 cm) and 3/4 inches (1.75 cm) deep.  It weighs about 47g.

The tray is in excellent antique condition with the design still strong and deep and just a couple of minor expected dings to the delicate metal;  the hallmarks are very clear.
