HANDSOME 1802 GEORGIAN ENGLISH STERLING SILVER TRAY PETER ANN & WILLIAM BATEMAN

Presented is a great English Georgian sterling silver round tray or salver. This piece dates to 1802, and was made by renowned silversmiths Peter, Ann & William Bateman. The tray is done in a simple, classical style, with gadrooning around the edge and on the edges of the feet. This is a fantastic piece, and would be a great addition to any home\'s silver collection.

This piece is in great overall condition. There are a couple of dings here and there, but nothing of any significance. There are no splits, no dents, no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

This piece is hallmarked on the underside with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard\'s head crowned for the city of London, the date letter G for 1802, King George III\'s head duty mark, and the maker\'s mark for Peter, Ann & William Bateman.

The tray is about 13 inches in diameter and stands about 1 3/4 inches high.

This piece weighs 884 grams or 31.2 grams.
