Description A very handsome largeheavyEnglish antique late Victoriansolid sterling silveralbert pocket watch chain by the silversmith William Walter Cashmore, and inlovelyconditionwith English silver hallmarksfor Birmingham 1900.Superbquality genuine117 year old chainwith nicechunky silver graduating chain links, witha silver t-bar and asecuresilver swivel/dog catch and attached is a beautiful antique solid silver & rose gold fob medal with no added personal inscriptions. Also attached is a pocket watch key. Excellentheavy silver weight, approx67grams, (in total).

MeasurementsGreatlength, measures approx 13 inches (330mm) in length with a further 1.25 inches on the fob chain. The centre chain links measure 10mm wide.

Date English antique late Victorian solid sterling silver, with silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1900(date letter \"a\") stamped on the t-bar; the swivel/dog catch is also hallmarked, marks are worn. There are lion passant silver hallmark stamps on all of the chain links and the silver & gold fob medal is also antique and has a colonial Hong Kong hallmark stamp.

Maker Silversmiths initials \"W.W.C\", (William Walter Cashmore), stamped on the t-bar. The swivel catch is stamped \"E.W & S\", marks are worn.

ConditionLovely condition,with no splits or solder repairs, and with only minor age wear on the chain links. The swivel/dog catch still work perfectly and has a good strong spring. The silver medal has no personal inscriptions. Very handsome silver watch chain and with a superb heavy silver weight.
