Substantial heavy silverweight, approx.308 gramswith no additional base weighting.

MeasurementsImpressive size, measuresapprox. 6.3inches (158mm) inheight and is 3.95 inches (99mm) in diameter across the top. Has almost a one pint capacity.

DateEnglish antique early 19th Century Georgian solid sterling silver,withEnglish silver hallmarks forLondon 1817(date letter \"b\").Includes the \"crowned\" leopard head stamp of the London assay office, the lion passant silver stamp, and also the duty stamp ofKing George the Third.The marks are rubbed/worn, especially the date letter, but are all just readable, see photos.

MakerSilversmiths initials rubbed but are \"RE over EB\", (almost certainly Rebecca Emes & Edrwad Barnard I - 1808-1827).
