Offfered is this handsome, pear-shaped sterling silver water pitcher, made by Gorham, C.1872. The height is 11\"; the overall width is approximately 7 3/4\"; the weight is 26.56 Troy Oz. The capacity is approximately 4 1/2 pints. The condition is wonderful - I did not see any problems. The engraved and brite-cut ornate monogram is a lost art in later periods. It beautifully accompanies the engraved and brite-cut design on the pitcher. Notice the top of the handle is attached with applied oak leaves. The marks have been style=\"text-align: center; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">-All pieces are sold in as found condition, which means I generally do not polish. IF necessary, I leave this pleasure to the lucky buyer!
