  • Overview: We just acquired the remainder of Patricia Sloane\'s most significant pieces from Samuel Collection, who originally purchased the collection from the Sloane estate. At the time of purchase it was represented that all of these pieces were exhibited at the New York Art Institute. Patricia Sloane is a highly regarded mid-century American abstract artist. She studied and painted with Hans Hofmann and his influence is felt in all of her pieces. For this oil on canvas painting, she abandoned her usual highly textured style in favor of a smoother appearance. It gives it a very sleek, modern look. This is the only one we have that is signed on the front. It is also dated 1969.
  • Condition: The painting is in great condition and ready to hang.
  • Measurements: The image is 42\"x48\" and is approx 48\"x54\" framed.
