ITEM: HENRY BIRKS & SONS Vintage ABSTRACT MODERNIST Hand-Crafted STERLING SILVER BROOCH

APPROXIMATE AGE: Mid to Late 20th Century

APPROXIMATE SIZE: The brooch measures approximately 2 5/8\" X 1 3/8\".

VINTAGE CONDITION:Very Good to Excellent overall vintage condition with only extremely minor surface wear noted that is consistent with age and gentle use. There is no evidence of repair or restoration and the safety style clasp functions properly and securely.

WEIGHT: 11.95 grams

MARKS: The back of the brooch is signed \"B\" in a hexagon which is the company insignia hallmark for HENRY BIRKS & SONS(see close-up photograph). The brooch is also stamped \"STERLING\".

SPECIAL NOTES: This is the same HENRY BIRKS & SONS from whom HRH Price Henry recently purchased a pair of snowflake diamond earrings for his bride to be Ms. Meghan Markle. HENRY BIRKS & SONS is considered the \"Tiffany\'s\" of CANADA. The brooch is beautifully designed and made. Far, far nicer than shown!!!
