DESIGN: A well preserved and fully intact second production 1951-1953 Herman Miller Dark Walnut plywood \"LCW\" Low Lounge Chair designed by Charles Eames. Warm, deep, rich Dark Walnut veneer throughout that has been comfortably used resulting in an ideal vintage patina, all unmolested and complete in excellent condition.CONDITION: This highly sought after post Evans Herman Miller production LCW is in excellent condition, completely intact and fully functional. The Dark Walnut veneer is very clean with no obvious chips, cracks or repairs evident aside from the usual small edge bumps around the feet. The rich wood grain is uniform throughout with some evidence of residual drying and obvious usage wear to the seat and backrest surfaces...a few superficial light scratches, marks and stains but all quite minimal only adding a beautiful vintage character to this rarer Dark Walnut finish. All rubber shockmounts appear original and are secure without cracking, damage or repair evident, all original zinc hardware is intact. Early foil Herman Miller manufacture label is full intact.
DIMENSIONS: The chairs general dimensions are 26\" tall to top of back with an overall width of 22\" at the seat, the seat is 16\" high…chair will be disassembled for shipping to meet regulation limits.
