Nylon foot glides are easy on floors."
“In 1950 Charles and Ray Eamesdesigned a system of modular storage cabinets that made no apology for their industrial attributes. Constructed ofplywood, lacquered Masonite, andplated-steel framing. These units were designed in an effort to produce economical household and office furniture using industrial production techniques.Charles and Ray Eames’s uncompromisingly progressive design was lauded by designers and architects of the time, but not readily embraced by a post-war general public. Herman Miller manufactured and marketed the Eames Storage Units (ESU) in 1950, and soon ended their production in 1955.”
