A very rare book published in 1935 ~ HISTORY OF FREE MASONRY IN OKLAHOMA, Prepared for the M. E. Grand Chapter, Royal Arch Masons of Oklahoma, Muskogee Print Shop, Muskogee, Oklahoma. This is probably a first edition.

266 pps + 14 page index, this is a history of Masonry in Oklahoma beginning April 30, 1803 through 1935. Includes Masonry to the Indian, During the War, Indian Territory Grand Lodge, Capitular Masonry, Struggle for Recognition, Impostors and Trials, The Cryptic Rite, Order of High Priesthood, much, much more. The accounts of various struggles are most interesting from a historical viewpoint if one is interested in Indian Territory/Oklahoma/towns, terrain, Tribes, etc.

Hard Cover in very good condition, original DJ in very poor condition but somewhat intact. There are no marks or notes inside; very tight and appears unread. Ialmost listed this13 years ago. At that time there were only three other copies available for sale;as of this date there are none. Please see photos.
