It\'s no exaggeration to describe Norman Bel Geddes as one of the most important designers of the Art Deco period.

His unrepentantly visionary approach to industrial design is best documented in this book, in which the designer himself lays out in words, plans photographs and drawings his startling futuristic manifesto for modernising transport, architecture, interior and stage design and town planning. Incidentally, Norman Bel Geddes was the father of Barbara Bel Geddes of Hollywood and TV fame (she played Miss Ellie in Dallas).

Condition: An excellent copy - binding is tight and the pages very bright and clean. Expected browning to the page edges and minor wear to the boards. Unsurprisingly the fragile dustjacket is a little torn and chipped, but this is confined to the edges.
