Frame is brushed aluminum. It is not permanently attached to the matting, I leave the decision to permanently adhere it to you. Consequently the poster may shift down in the frame in transit.

It looks a little hazy because the frame still has the plastic coating over the plexiglass. Will be nice and clear when you peel it off. Plus, you get to peel it off, which we all know is a very satisfying sensation...
