Estate sale original owner: The Kingdom of The Unicorn Imperial Jeweled Egg-Faberge' Egg from the House of Faberge'. Exclusive Limited Edition Design made available only through The Franklin Mint in a worldwide limited Edition of 1,500. The jeweled egg is inscribed with the Faberge' Cyrillic "F", the jewelers mark of excellence and authenticity. The egg is sculptured of solid sterling silver lavishly accented with 24 karat gold, sapphire-blue guilloche and brilliant enamels, and hand set with 42 fully-faceted rubies and 142 fully-faceted white-sapphires. The egg’s exterior has a scene of a castle, and crescent moon with a flowering tree in the foreground. The egg opens to reveal a magnificent 14K white gold unicorn brooch - with accents of 24 karat gold and the unicorn's eyes sparkle with the brilliance of 2 full cut pink diamonds. The sculptured base is crafted in solid sterling silver coated with 24 karat gold. In all, the egg and base contain over 12 carats of radiant gems. The egg comes complete with a musical movement that plays the melody of Debussey's Clair de Lune. This item is marked to the underside and includes a House of Faberge pamphlet.
