Up for offers is a FABULOUS VINTAGE ORIGINAL PAPER MACHE FULL BODY Halloween JACK-O-LANTERN CAT MAN WITH EARS AND A TAIL. It is 8\" tall. The bottom is marked F.N. BURT CO. LTD. (The F. N. Burt Company was located in Buffalo, New York and made holiday novelties from PULP PAPER via a method they called \"THE DRAKE PROCESS\" from 1923 to the mid 1930\'s.) The material resembles \"egg carton\" paper. This jack-o-lantern has the ORIGINAL FACIAL TISSUE INSERT however the mouth and nose show wear. There is no wire bail handle but I see no evidence it ever had one. There is a tiny scuff to the surface right at the tip of the tail and a slightly larger one on one of his arms. One foot has suffered a mis-hap while the other foot has a minor surface scrape. Aside from these minor things this lantern is in VERY SOUND CONDITION. The outer surface is lightly age soiled. I made no attempt to clean it. The jack-o-lantern will display beautifully! This will be a fine addition to even the most advanced Halloween collection.
