This adorable vintage cookie jar is by Lefton. It is a cute, blond haired boy with big brown eyes. He is wearing a white chef\'s hat on his head and has a small blue bow tie under his chin. There are some flaws/damage to this jar, mostly minor. There is some fine crazing (some of it lightly stained), tiny chips/flea bites around the edges of the rim on jar base and lid (most have been touched up to make less noticeable), a small \"ding\" on the top of the hat (white on white), a tiny chip to the left tip of the bow and twoon his left earwhich has been touched up, a hairline on the right side of his head starting on the rim, on the underside of the hat is a \"crack\" which is most likely a production flawduring the drying process, a tiny \"pinhole\" under left eye (production flaw)and the largechip on the inside of the rim of the base. This chip is not visible when lidded on display. Even with all these minor flaws, this sweet vintage cookie jar still displays beautifully!!! It measures approximately 8 inches high (to top of hat) and 6 1/4 inches across the top of the base.
