Hifolks, this is not a reproduction with a weak attempt to make it lookold. You rarely find a thumb latch handle of this size that is not areproduction. This is heavy duty and very well made and nothing likethe cheaply made imports of today that use some type of cheap potmetal. Marked on in made in the U.S.A. and I think Stanley but I\'mnot sure on that. The measurements were taken at the attachment base:about 10 3/4” long x 2 3/8” wide at the ends and 1 1/8” widewhere you grip it. The grasp has about a 5” grip opening or what Iwould call a full hand pull. The condition is solid with a bend atthe one end and some specks of old black paint and rust and pittingfrom age and usage. Mypictures are large because I not only want to tell what you\'regetting but I want to see what you\'re getting.
NOTE: Be very careful when buying antique hardware. I\'m seeing more reproductions showing up at flea markets and sales thanever before. Remember, if it\'s too good to be true....
About half of what I sell on is antique hardware most of which I bought before was even someone\'s dream. First I bought it for the Victorian home I had and then I just started buying it because I liked it.
