THIS WAR WAS FOUGHT BETWEEN THE HOUSE OF YORK AND THE HOUSE OF LANCASTER AND WAS THE LARGEST AND BLOODIEST BATTLE EVER FOUGHT ON ENGLISH SOIL. OUT OF THE APPROXIMATELY 50,000 SOLDIERS WHO FOUGHT THAT DAY, 28,000 DIED ON THE BATTLEFIELD !!!
