Hi!I\'m reluctantly selling this beautiful, unique, tribal salt bag (kilim) which was left to me by a deceased relative. As far as I know they picked it up on their travels in the Middle East which could have been any time from the 1950\'s to the 1990\'s so I cannot specify the exact age or where it was originally from. I had no idea what it was, apart from being a salt bag carried by camels and had to do a little research! It is very decorative, the colours are really lovely, rich, earthy, natural dyes and it\'s made from a coarse, heavy, woven wool. It makes a wonderful focal point to any wallThere are 2 iron rings on the inside which I presume were used for suspension straps of some kind.These make lovely decorative items to have in your house; I had this on a living room wall for a while but sadly now no longer have room for it. I also have a smaller one which I am selling.This is very heavy, nearly 5kg and will be sent boxed. Please be aware if you want this as a wall hanging you may need 2 people to help!The measurements for this are width: 118cm, length : 108 cm (not including tassels)
