FOR SALE: ONE HUMONGOUS VINTAGE WRENCH
Dimensions: A bit under 4 feet.The head opening is about 5.5 inches.Width: At its\' head 1 foot wide and about 3 inches thickAt the tippy end about 3 inches wide and 1 inch thickWeight: My best guess is 135 to 150 lbs. It\'s very solid with no visible pitting.Age: I did some research: I found no markings. I believe it is at least 100 years old if not older and was used on Railroads / Steam Engines in the early 20th century / late 19th century.
I will not ship this \"BEAST\" due to size and immense weight. I once did a shipping quote for someone in Ohio and it was over $1,000.00 door to door freight! THIS IS FORLOCAL NYC PICK UP ONLY. It displays nicely whether leaning against a wall or flat. My sneaker size is 11.5 and I am over 6 feet - when upright this comes to my sternum. This could display in a vintage store, your home or a pub.
I am fascinated by objects that have both a unique form and a specific function. This object was once a human tool for someimmenseindustrial project and now it is iconic in its\' solemn nature and austere presence.
