This is a spectacular & high quality vintage genuine angel skin pink coral, carved green jade & baroque pearl bead necklace with solid 14k yellow gold clasp. The pendant bead on this necklace is the larges one I have seen in carved coral measuring at 27 mm by 18 mm, or 1 1/16 inch by 3/4 inch and is beautifully hand carved all the way around the barrel bead. Also on this necklace are 2 hand carved green jade spheres measuring 17 mm in diameter and are both a very green opaque color and intricate design. There are 4 natural baroque pearls with very reflective deep luster and gorgeous mauve purple/pink rainbow hues. The pearls have free-form oblong shape and measure approximately 14 mm by 10 mm. The coral beads that comprise the strand are large, measuring 8.5 mm with ever so slight variation in size and color. These beads have some minor natural characteristics but are stable and do not detract from the beauty of the necklace. They have also been tested for being dyed by using a cotton swab dipped in acetone, then rubbed vigorously on the surface of a few beads. If they are dyed there would be dye color transfer onto the cotton swab and my tests showed up negative for color transfer. There are also 6 barrel shaped beads in more of a salmon color. The necklace is fully hand knotted on salmon pink colored silk thread free from damage or major stretching. The necklace measures 26.5 inches wearable length and weighs in at 65 grams. I have had this piece inspected by a reputable jeweler to verify the materials, needless to say he was very impressed by this amazing piece. This is such a unique and extremely quality piece, I have never seen such a combination of fine materials!
