VERY RARE HUMMEL 394 TIMID LITTLE SISTER Trademark 6 in white over glaze with only features painted. Has \"ARBEITSMUSTER\" decal on base and Goebel Archive seal attached to girls arm.

The Hummel pictured in the photographs is the exact Hummel you will receive. Please study and enlarge the photographs as they are part of the description. Hummel 394 in white is not listed in the 10th edition of Robert L. Millers No. 1 Price Guide to Hummel Figurines. It looks like it could have been an early sample for the Expressions of Youth series that were produced in white over glaze with only the features painted. However, Timid Little Sister is NOT one of the seven figurines that were produced in the Expressions of Youth series, and this does NOT have the red Expressions of Youth decal on the underside of the base. It does have a blue ARBEITSMUSTER decal on the base, and a metal Goebel factory ARBEITSMUSTER archive seal attached to the girls arm.

Arbeitsmuster is German for \"working pattern\". This means that the piece is a sample that is to be held at the Goebel factory archives in the sample room to be used for future reference by production artists. Pieces with metal Arbeitsmuster seals should not leave the Goebel factory.

This Hummel is in like new condition with no crazing, chips, or damage that I can see. This figurine is approx. 6 3/4\" - 7\" tall. Please ask questions prior to offerding because it is being sold as is with no returns accepted. From a 100% smoke free home.
