Here\'s one of the nicest Haggadot I\'ve come across in recent years. It was printed in Budapest, Hungary in 1987 and is called the OMZSA HAGGADA. here are its unique qualities:

Size: 13 x 9.5 inches

Paper used: Acid free thick off white paper.

Illustrations:Taken from the 1930 First Illustrated Jerusalem Haggada by Nachum Lipshitz (which I have at least 3 editions of, so ask me).

Pages: 84 + 74, altogether 158 pages.

Condition: Good to very good.

About the Haggada: This haggada is actually made up of 3 parts. The first part (from right to left) contains reprint of facsimile manuscript (early) haggadot such as the Sarajevo and first Prague edition, a page or two of each. Second part (74 pages) consists of the actual haggada in hebrew and on the opposite side a Hungarian translation. Third part consists of a historical-archaeological look into the Exodus (in Hungarian of course) with many pictures and illustrations. This information was taken from the 1942 Hungarian Haggada edition by Dr. Erno Munacsi and Dr. Ribary Geza. DrEliezer Kohn translated the text into Hungarian.

There\'s also 2 pages of musical notes on Ha Lachma Anya, Adir Hu, Kilo Naeh, and Chad Gadya text.

According to the introduction, this Haggada was printed in only 1000 copies altogether with 900 printed on fine paper, and 100 copies on extra fine paper.

This is therefore a very rare and really nice Haggada to have as part of your collection!
