With sculptured wings and barley a straight

line, the G17S marked the end of a long line

of stylish biplane designs from Walter Beech.

Nicknamed the \"Staggerwing\" it\'s upper wing

was set behind the lower, providing

acrodynamic and engineering advantages and

better visibility for the pilot. Models were

produced from 1933 to 1946 and utilized in

business, military, racing, and sport flying.

The finely detailed replica is sixth in the series of historic aircraft.
