Hamilton scarce 18s, 17J watch marked \"Roosevelt\".
Movement is currently running, but has not been cleaned or serviced for timekeeping accuracy. Is also missing a plate screw, which is easily replaced.
Dial is double sunk, arabic and marked to match the movement. Dial has a fewimperfections, which can be seen in pictures and should face up nicely with a little cleaning and attention.
Case is later base metal replacement. Threads on both rear and front bezel could stand some attention and the plastic crystal needs replaced.
A rare marking for the Hamilton Watch collector or collectors of items associated with President Roosevelt. In over 35 years of collecting Hamiltons, I\'ve seen a couple of similar watches marked \"Washington\" and \"Lincoln\", but this is the only one I\'ve ran across marked \"Roosevelt\".
