This is a sterling candy bowl in nice condition. The diameter of the bowl is 5 1/2\" The total height is 3 1/4\" and the base is 2 1/4\" tall. I received this bowl as an inheritance from my husband\'s family. We are the original owners. There are no surface dings. The scratches are minimal and only as expected for an item of it\'s age. In is ideal for serving chocolates or other candy items. Silver items do not fit with my casual lifestyle so this pretty piece should find a new home. Thanks for offerding - Jodi
