I don\'t know where this whistle originated, but I found it in the estate of a rail employee and model train collector. It\'s made of aluminum, and it makes an authentic locomotive whistle sound, if enough air passes through. I made it toot a little with a breath, but pointing compressed air at it really sets it off. I used the blower feature on an Electrolux, and under full force this thing just screams. There is no name or any indication of a maker on it, and the machine marks are evident. I haven\'t seen anything similar short of a pipe organ.
