Up for your consideration is a hand carving of a beautiful African woman from the bust up. She is beautifully detailed. I don\'t know what kind of wood it is, but it is mahogany colored. Judging from the bottom surface, the carving looks to be only varnished, not stained.She has her long hair in cornrows and she is wearing large earrings. She measures 4 1/4\" high. I don\'t see any damage.Shipping charges include any shipping-material costs necessary to protect the item during shipping. Domestically, I ship via USPS Priority or First Class Mail depending mainly on the weight of the object. I may indicate that the item will be shipped by Parcel Select (cheaper that Priority) and charge you the lower rate, but then ship it by Priority anyway. For international shipments I only use \'s Global Shipping Program. All items will be shipped within 1 business day after payment has been received.INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Please be aware that I ship all my packages through the Global Shipping Program that adds a small surcharge to what it would normally cost to ship the item to you. For that surcharge, GSP takes care of any customs or shipping issues. Please determine the shipping rate for the listed item BEFORE offerding or using Buy It Now.
