I have for sale this very nice and all original Handel arts and crafts lamp. This lamp needs no excuses folks as its in excellent original condition. The base measures 21.5 inches tall and the shade is 15.5 inches wide so a nice utilitarian size. The base in original patina and without dents or dings. its properly signed on the bottom. It been rewired with plastic cord but if the new buyer wants, we will rewire with period style brown cloth cord for an additional fee. just let me know. The shade without breaks in the glass or separations in the seam work. Shade properly signed in the top ring, please see photo. No paint missing in any of the panels as well. Just a great arts and crafts lamp from one of the best makers ever from the 1900-1925 arts and crafts period.
If the winning buyer is from the Northeast I would like to try and get this delivered if possible. Of course if you would like to pick it up at my location that is welcome as well:AS FOR SHIPPING:Please note shipping will be calculated based on your location post sale and we can also discuss delivery inside our radius map (see below). An invoice for the total amount will be sent through as normal.

I\'m sorry to say but for years now I have looked the other way cost wise on shipping but I cant do it anymore. The shipping cost to the Midwest and far west is so much more than what I have to deal with here in the northeast. I have struggled with doing this as I didn’t want to lose my buyers/buyers west of me but it just adds up to too much money in the long run. Please understand I do this very reluctantly, as such, I am adding 20% to anything being shipped to zone two and 33% to anything being shipped to zone three. Example 75.00 regular shipping cost to zone one is just that 75.00. zone two would be 75.00 times 20% which equals 15.00 which is added to the 75.00 and becomes 90.00. zone three is 75.00 times 33% which is 25.00 which then becomes 100.00 for zone three. Bear in mind I am already very cheap in my packing and shipping costs and DO NOT CHARGE for labor, boxes, bubble, wrap, or peanuts and that we double box the shade and ship the base separately. Please notice the very positive response comments regarding our packaging. Sorry to do this and I hope you will stay on as fine and loyal customers.

We may be able to hand deliver this item ourselves. What that means is this. If you live in the following radius or just outside it, we should communicate about not using a major carrier, so it has a better chance of survival and minimizing damage or a damage claim as well.Horseheads nyto Detroit mi, Detroit mi toChicago il, Chicago il toIndianapolis IntoCincinnati oh, Cincinnati oh toPittsburgh pa, Pittsburgh toWashington dc, Washington dc tomanhattan ny, manhattan ny to boston ma,boston mato Albany ny,Albany nytobuffalo ny. If this option is something you would like to discuss, email me, and if there is a shipping amount posted on the listing, we would honor that dollar amount and not go over it so it doesn’t cost you any further money.

TO ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS

buyers please remember that I am selling antiques and that there should be a degree of expectation on your part in knowing that there will be normal aging and minor imperfections towards an item that is 75 to 100 years old. Chances are if there aren\'t any, it\'s a newer item and you shouldn\'t want it anyways. In other words, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16 by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I really don\'t want to do a refund because the finial ( typically a 10.00 piece ) isn\'t perfect on a 2,000.00 lamp. I always describe the important aspects towards condition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issues such as the aforementioned sentence. It seems the more experienced an antique dealer or buyer is, the more understanding of condition they are. That being said, if you think you\'re going to be a difficult buyer because you want perfection in a 100 year old piece, please purchase another seller\'s product. has made it very difficult for sellers in the past few years yet I\'m a good seller who wants to be fair and all I ask for is a fair buyer to do business with. Thanks for your understanding.
