Handmade Roman Gladius Sword With Scabbard

This is a replica of the Gladius Sword used by Gladiators of Rome. The sword is created in the traditional style used during the Roman period, with wooden fittings and a rhombus cross section.

Blade: The blade of the sword is made of High carbon steel with an unsharpened edge and sharpened Tip. The blade has been constructed with the traditional cross section rhombus design.

Scabbard: The scabbard is wooden with a black faux leather cover. The scabbard throat is made of brass with two carrying rings. The drag of the scabbard has a cut out design with a ball point tip.

Guard: The guard starts with a steel fiting securing the blade to the handle. The actual guard is wooden with a light finish.

Handle: The metal sword handle is stitched with four finger grips. The pommel of the sword is wooden.
