This small bracelet was handmade in the home by a Navajo artisan for use as family jewelry and pawn trade. The5 stones appear to befrom theHachita Mine in New Mexico; they are a pearlescent greenin color with a gold matrix and are inpristine condition and well seated. The bracelet is a size7, the opening(which is included in the size)is1 inch and it weighs50 grams(2 1/4 oz.). It measures1 1/2 inches at its\' highest point. The sterling is polished very smoothlyand showsa compelling raindrop and wind motif. I am not a professional seller. I collected pieces on my many trips through the Navajo Reservation as a delivery driver 1965 through the 1990\'s. I made it a point to stop for lunch breaks at trading posts and pawn shops along the way.
