Beautiful handpainted porcelain dresser vase – gorgeous low circular form with fluted spout, rich matte chocolate with exquisite handpainted gilt decoration of a griffin or rooster. Stunning original Jugendstil piece with great presence. Stamped “Vienna, Austria” on the bottom and signed “Josie, J.M.S., 1907.” In fine condition to boot – no chips or cracks, gilt very bright. 5” across, 2” high.
