Here is an Absolutely Gorgeous Vintage Signed Original Color Aquatint titled \"St. Peters from the Vatican Gardens\"

On nice off-white Silk. By the famous listed aquatint artist ‘Hans Figura’ (Austrian, 1898-1978) whose signature is hand written in pencil lower right beneath the image. Hans Figura was one of two famous aquatint artists to come from Austria, and he is most well known for his European and American landscape & cityscape aquatint etchings. He has exhibited his aquatint prints and original oil paintings in various venues worldwide. The other famous aquatint artist to come from Austria was Luigi Kasimir (Austrian, 1881-1962).

The Aquatint is circa 1940’s-50’s and is in Excellent Rare+ condition for its age with No Color Fade! It’s as beautiful as the day it was crafted-Simply Stunning! The framed size is 16-3/4” x 14-3/4”, and the Image size is 9-1/2” x 7-1/2”. Free ofTears, foxing and other real damage at all on this lovely piece, with the exception of slightwaves here & thereon silkwhich are negligible since they can easily be matted & framed out.
