Up for sale today is this great pair of very hard to find Martha Chase boy and girl doll from 1950\'s. This will be my last listing of this pair.Cute as can be this pair is sure to please. Made to look like the antique cloth stockinette dolls made by the same company decades before. The only difference is these were made from latex over cloth and stuffed like the old ones to make them firm(which makes them substantial in weight).The patterns of doll are same with the same style hands(see photo). This pair is painted well, with no discoloration to the latex, which seems to be common with many I have seen. The only flaw I can see is there is a small amount of rubber at the boys neck that is a bit saggy, but not bad. The painting on both dolls hair is in fabulous shape as is the painting on the face. These dolls are being sold as a pair for one great price. If you love Martha Chase cloth dolls this pair is for you.
